ABOUT

WHO AM I AND WHAT AM I DOING?

I am Eilidh.

Skier, yogi, sports massage therapist and lover of the outdoors.

I want to make the mountains a place that is accessible to all, creating memorable and tailored experiences for everyone. Whether its on skis or the yoga mat I can guide you through movements and places that can will make both your mind and body feel good.

HOW DID I GET HERE?

Growing up in Edinburgh I learnt to ski in the cairngorms and the alps.  I started ski racing when I was 7 year olds and I was very lucky to go on to get to the opportunity to represent Scotland and Great Britain in Alpine racing.

At 19, I had to retire due to injuries but this opened up the door to University where I went to Aberdeen to study geography! At university I coached both in Scotland and Europe and loved putting back into the sport that had given me so much.  I even got to race again and represented British Universities in a historic tie between GB and the Swiss.

After graduating from Aberdeen I briefly tried a stint in the office world… but the mountains were calling and I’ve never looked back!

I have coached and instructed for over 10 years and been skiing for nearly 30 years!

I had a wonderful block of lessons with Eilidh during my skiing holiday, having skied only a little before, she helped increase my confidence and technique taking my skiing to the next level. She also introduced me to the off-piste teaching me safely and also avalanche training. She is an incredible teacher, very clear and fun and I felt safe throughout.

WHERE DO I WANT TO GO NEXT?

I hope I can pass on my enthusiasm and love of the mountain environment. I want people to feel safe, have a good time and maybe learn a few useful tips along the way!
